The Sticks

Keith was incredible gracious and spent the afternoon showing me the countryside, or what he called "The Sticks". We found two out of the way pubs and had lunch, as well as a couple pints of ale. We had a great plate of fish & chips...truly authentic and very filling. The pictures above are from our last stop. We cleared the place out upon arrival and while sitted by the fire (that's Keith above) an older man tending to the fire proclaimed, "You're awfuly far from home". I asked him if it was my bald head that gave away my American roots. Apparently, it was my loud voice. He asked Keith if he was American and Keith answered "No". You know come to think of it, Keith answered that a little too fast...

Anyways, great pup, great food and a great time.
