11 Beers to Christmas
My 11th beer on the journey is Old Leg Over from Daleside Brewery in England. Knowing the English like I do (i.e. marriage), I figured the name had more of cheeky meaning. According to the fine folks at Daleside, it doesn't...or so they say.
Old Leg Over is a traditional English Ale. In fact, the only thing missing from it is the pub to drink it in. The beer poured with a minimal head. It's nose was sweet and had a strong sweet malt taste with a nutty finish. In my book, Old Leg Over is a really enjoyable session beer.
