Relatively Wordless Wednesday

Last Friday was a day off work.  Instead of spending the morning knocking out work around the house, I did the next best thing: brew.

With Dave in on the endeavor, I enjoyed the slow pace of a morning brew, versus the maddening pace of our usual festivities.  It was a nice change.

Breakfast!

Food is never far away, which is why I once again cranked out Huevos Rancheros.  If I can't grill lunch, I grill breakfast.

Even better, I was able to break in my new burner and stand.

My new burner is light years ahead of my old one and ten times quieter, too.

I brewed a smoked porter and Dave cranked out a NewCastle clone.  Results in weeks.

Aeration

Here's an observation from last week.  Technology needs a safe zone when a pool is around.

Finally, I've got something special waiting for me in the beer fridge: this awesome bit of love from Sun King Brewing in Indianapolis.

Sun King Brewery Beers

Although the Sun King Brewery has only been around for four years, the award winning brewers have years of experience and friendship behind them.  Sun King is the third largest beer brewer in the State of Indiana and a good friend of mine, who travels to the Hoosier state quite a bit, swears by them.  In fact, his wife indicated he would do about anything for a can.  Let's see, I do have some chores I put off to brew on Friday…

Enjoy your Wednesday.
