The price of petrol...
Keith took me to get measured for my DJ...dinner jacket for tomorrow. Sounds sophisticated doesn't it. Well, at least until I'm actually in it. Then sophistication goes down quite a bit unfortunately. While waiting for my pants to be hemmed, we stopped for a cappuccino in a strange Turkish coffee shop. We were in a rather dodgy area of Ispwich, which is northeast of Colchester. With the sun out, it was a beautiful day for a drive in Keith's car...yeah baby!
If you happen to think we are paying a lot for gas at home, think again. We put just under 12 gallons into the car. Keith paid £40 which is around $75 total or $6.25 a gallon!
Tonight, I am staying with Keith at James' house. James is Keith's best man and is going to be making us dinner. Afterwards, we will hit a pub with some other friends before heading up to the estate for the wedding tomorrow. We will not see the girls until probably tomorrow afternoon. Blogging will probably be light until Sunday because I'm not sure I will have an internet connection. Rest assured that I will take plenty of pictures and post a major update Sunday night when we arrive on the Isle.
