2 Beers to Christmas: Peculiar Yule

Peculiar Yule is aptly titled.  For my 2nd beer to Christmas, I looked to Norway.

I totally back up what the label says: “brewed with spices.”  This is certainly a spice forward beer.  At first, I found it a bit overwhelming.  However, as the beer warmed up over a half hour things changed.

While the spice, made up of cardamon, cinnamon, and things I can’t even place, was still there, it wasn’t as pronounced as the beer grew warm.

A solid beer.  Norway has it going on.
